Join a ranger on safari in Yala National Park, home to a thriving leopard population, and visit an elephant rehabilitation center in Udawalawe National Park.

The Itinerary

Arrive and proceed to Sigiriya. Visit Sigiriya UNESCO world heritage site. Overnight at Sigiriya or Habarana. Optional:
• Elephant back safari of one hour.
• Visit Hiriwadunna dry zone rural village. 
Check out and proceed to Kandy. Visit Dambulla caves UNESCO world heritage site and a spice garden at Matale on the way to Kandy. Kandy city tour and enjoy the cultural show in the evening. Visit temple of the tooth UNESCO world heritage site for evening ceremony (6.30 pm to 7.30 pm). Overnight at Kandy.
Check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Visit Ramboda falls, McWoods tea plantation and the factory, on the way.
Visit Little Adam’s Peak in the morning and proceed to Udawalawa. Visit Ravana falls on the way. Proceed to Udawalwa and visit the elephant orphanage at 3 pm for baby feeding. After that commence the jeep safari at Udawalwa national park (3.30 pm to 6.30 pm). Overnight at Yala.
Jeep safaris to Yala national park (5 am to 10 am) in the morning. Checkout and proceed to Mirissa.
Check out and proceed to the airport for departure flight. Optional Visit sea turtle hatchery on the way at Kosgoda. Visit stilt fishermen at Weligama. Visit Japanese temple at Unawatuna.
