The Itinerary

Arrive and proceed to Sigiriya. Visit Sigiriya UNESCO world heritage site. Overnight at Sigiriya or Habarana. Optional Elephant back safari of one hour. Visit Hiriwadunna dry zone rural village.
Visit Polonnaruwa UNESCO world heritage site. Jeep safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla national parks in the evening (3 pm to 6.30 pm) Overnight at Sigiriya or Habarana.
Check out and proceed to Kandy. Visit Dambulla caves UNESCO world heritage site and a spice garden at Matale on the way to Kandy. Kandy city tour and enjoy the cultural show in the evening. Visit temple of the tooth UNESCO world heritage site for evening ceremony (6.30 pm to 7.30 pm). Overnight at Kandy.
Check out and proceed to visit Peradeniya botanical garden. After that proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Visit Ramboda falls, McWoods tea plantation and the factory, on the way. Visit Nuwara Eliya city including, Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, lovers leap, market, golf course, Pidurutalagala mountain etc. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.
Check out and proceed to Nanuoya railway station to catch the train to Ella. This may be the most scenic train trip of Sri Lanka. The driver will travel along with your baggage to Ella railway station and wait for you.
Visit Little Adam’s Peak in the morning and proceed to Yala. Visit Ravana falls on the way. After lunch, commence the jeep safari at Yala national park (2.30 pm to 6.30 pm) to spot leopards, sloth bears, spotted dears, wild bores, elephants, crocodiles and many more animals. Overnight at Yala or Tissamaharama.
Checkout and proceed to Unawatuan. Full day leisure at the beach. Overnight at Mirissa.
Whale watching boat trip of 4- 5 hours in the early morning and leisure at the beach in the afternoon. Visit Galle UNESCO world heritage site for the sunset. Overnight at Mirissa.
Check out and proceed to the airport for departure flight. Optional Visit sea turtle hatchery on the way at Kosgoda. Visit stilt fishermen at Weligama. Visit Japanese temple at Unawatuna.
