    Arrival and Transfer to Habarana

    Upon your arrival at Sri Lanka's Bandaranaike International Airport in the late morning, you will be greeted by a representative from Off2Sri Lanka Tours. Your chauffeur guide will accompany you throughout the trip. After meeting your guide, you will be transferred to Habarana, located in the heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. The journey takes approximately 4 hours (170 km). You will have the rest of the day at leisure to relax at your hotel.

    Habarana

    In the morning, head to Sigiriya to explore the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This ancient site features impressive frescoes, gardens, and the iconic Lion’s Gate. The visit will take around 2 hours. Afterward, journey to Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage site, for a guided bicycle tour of the ancient city that served as Sri Lanka's second capital from the 11th to the 13th centuries. Explore the well-preserved ruins, including temples, palaces, and statues. The visit to Polonnaruwa will take about 2 to 3 hours. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time, or opt for a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, known for its large herds of elephants. The safari lasts from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM and includes a 4x4 vehicle, an English-speaking tracker, snacks, fruits, and water. Overnight: Stay in Habarana.

    Habarana to Kandy

    Drive from Habarana to Kandy, a journey that will take around 3 hours (95 km). On the way, stop to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient Buddha statues and stunning cave paintings. Afterward, explore a local spice garden to learn about Sri Lanka's spice heritage. Upon reaching Kandy, enjoy a city tour, including a visit to Kandy Lake and panoramic viewpoints. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, an important Buddhist site that houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha. You may also choose to visit the Kandy cultural show in
