Off 2 Lanka Tours is proud to have established itself as one of Sri Lanka’s most dependable destination management companies since 2000. We believe that by providing the best services at the best prices rather than focusing on higher profits, we will be able to attract more satisfied customers. Our new company name is Off 2 Lanka Tours. Previously, it was called Off 2 Sri Lanka Tours. The modification went into effect on February 20, 2018.The name change is due to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority’s most recent regulations on business registration. The new regulation prohibits the use of the word “Sri Lanka” in any private company names.
Our story since 2002
The founder of Off2Srilanka Tours, Menaka Arangala, started tourism as a freelance tourist guide lecturer in 2002. He continued the job until the end of Sri Lanka’s civil war in 2008. During this period, he became very popular as a five-star freelance tourist guide on travel websites like TripAdvisor, Lonely Planet, and Rough Guide. With the end of the civil war, tourist arrivals increased remarkably, and it laid the foundation for Off2SriLanka Tours.The company started in 2011 and obtained the licence to work as a travel agency in Sri Lanka from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority. We received a “safe and secure” certificate from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked on PPE kits.Off2Srilanka Tours was awarded the “certificate of excellence” from TripAdvisor in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. “Travellers Choice” was also awarded in 2020, 2021, and 2023.
