For those interested in additional hiking, you may also consider visiting Pidurangala Rock for a sunset view. Afterward, head to Minneriya National Park for a jeep safari in the afternoon. The park is famous for its large herds of wild elephants, particularly between July and October, although it remains a great spot for wildlife viewing year-round.
