The visit will take around 2 hours. Afterward, journey to Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage site, for a guided bicycle tour of the ancient city that served as Sri Lanka's second capital from the 11th to the 13th centuries. Explore the well-preserved ruins, including temples, palaces, and statues. The visit to Polonnaruwa will take about 2 to 3 hours. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time, or opt for a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, known for its large herds of elephants.
